I am,

Doing a bit of navel gazing 😉

I am,

often depressed,
asthmatic,
pessimistic,
starting from scratch.

I feel,

often lonely,
sometimes scared,
creative,
there is more to come.

I want,

peace of mind,
a companion,
something better,
to walk in the fields.

I see,

the trees,
wasted lives,
human hate,
no answers.

I like,

music,
to write,
the smell of books,
to learn new things.

I love,

the beach,
to walk,
to read,
to laugh.

I hate,

the pills,
confrontation,
celebrity,
shaving.

I am,

me,
all that you see,
all that you read,
all that you sense.

  1. Trevor.
In my brief readings of you, i feel that you have left a few things out.
    May I suggest some additions?
You are: talented, expressive, a unique and beautiful expression of the universe…

    • Thanks Bex, flattery will get you everywhere 😀
I tried to be as truthful with myself as possible, the list is pretty representative of who I am and how I think of myself,

  2. what a great way to paint a picture of ourselves, straightforward and uncomplicated but very brief…. and to quote from the great Robbie Burns..
‘O would some power the giftie gie us to see ourselves as others see us.’ I think we are our own worst critics, and sell ourselves short sometimes… You are a talented man, Trev, very talented…

  3. Thank you Pen.
Talent or talented aren’t words I associate with myself.
