Day 1

Sleeping Bo

All I can say is I’m knackered! Not because of actually doing a days work but because I just couldn’t sleep last night. I wasn’t laying there worrying about anything or excited about the fact that I might actually have some structure in the days to come. I simply lay there getting frustrated that I couldn’t sleep.

The day itself was OK as most of it was taken up by an induction, Tomorrow the work begins when I have to be there by 7am, this means getting up around 5:30am so that I can gather my thoughts, have some breakfast then hope the the early morning bus runs on time at 6:25am.

Not much else to say really, so I’m off to make a nice sleep inducing beverage then I think I’ll get an early night.

Next Post

  1. hope it goes well for you Trevor!
my fingers are crossed for you!

  2. Thanks Bex, hopefully I won’t feel so drained tomorrow

  3. HI Trevor,
I did a poem a while ago about this very subject, just laying there, staring at the ceiling…..hang on..I’ll see if I can find it…
no answers to be able to get to sleep, but it’s a tricky fellow, the brain I mean, I think mine hates me and keeps me awake on purpose, especially if the next day is important and I need to be fully recharged to face it…Sometimes I just give in, get up , have a sip of cold milk and chew on a dry digestive biscuit (low fat of course!!) sometimes it works, sometimes not…
I hope the day goes well for you, and runs like clockwork…xPenx

    • That’s just how it was for me Pen, also loved the poem (I missed so much while I was offline 😦 ).
With me once I’m up I tend to stay up, which is not the brightest thing to do but I daren’t go back to bed, I know I’d sleep through any alarm if I did,

'Appy Days !
