Muntjac Deer

I was really struggling to come up with anything for today’s post, then I saw the Daily Post helper thingy was also the weekly photo challenge. I know these photos were taken a couple of years ago but they show the abundance of wildlife at this time of year little more than a short train ride from where I live, yet I live on the edge of a reasonably sized city. These photos were taken by yours truly out at Strumpshall Fen and the surrounding countryside during a time when I owned a camera capable of taking much better photos than these. It’s all about the eye and skill of the photographer, not the camera itself.

Oh, and the Muntjac Deer was photographed at RSPB Minsmere, although shy this little lady followed us around nearly all day.

Sorry to be lazy today.

  1. Not lazy at all, Trevor! I think your photos highlight abundance brilliantly!

    • Thanks Aquatom, it felt like I was being lazy posting a few old photos from my drive. I was just so uninspired last night but that has nothing to do with my blog (though the reason for lack of inspiration may feature heavily in an entry soon enough)

  2. very lovely pics Trevor! really enjoyed the birds especially.
    (i hope that makes sense, i’m a bit tired…)

    • Thanks Bex, the bird photos are my favourites as well. I used to love getting out and about taking photos like this, I really miss doing this.
