Lazy Sunday Afternoon

general malaise

Even this weeks news is giving me no inspiration to write this evening 😦 I normally find something in the weeks news that either entertains or makes me laugh. Maybe I’m not looking hard enough! We had no film this weekend, so that has left me with nothing to say about what we watched. Of course our new family member is taking loads of our attention, he now chases balls of paper around the room, bites fingers, claws the furniture and generally has a grand time whilst bringing broad smiles to us both.

My daughter, who has now started volunteering a couple of hours on a Sunday at the shop I volunteer at, went out to volunteer and it was just me and the kitty asleep on the sofa most of the afternoon. I had some music playing in the background and we just lay there getting to know each other a little. As Jeremy Clarkson would say, cuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuute πŸ˜€

That has been my day really, nothing exciting or fantastic, just lazing around and listening to music, I didn’t even read this afternoon!

  1. I think you could multiply your day by the number of people who are alive, Trevor, we all have days when nothing happens, we just go through the motions and live it. Nothing wrong with that methinks… and I bet Pancake enjoyed the snooze with her favouritest person… glad you had a good and peaceful, batteries recharging day…xPenx

    • I have privately nicknamed him rattler as he has a purr like a tractor engine already, I’ll have to keep that nickname quite though, my daughter is insistent on Pancake! πŸ˜€
It was good just laying back and relaxing, trouble is it leaves me with nothing to say as my mind takes the day off as well πŸ˜‰

  2. Nothing wrong with lazy days, Trevor. They take a while to get over, but there’s nothing wrong with them! πŸ˜‰

    • It’s amazing isn’t it? You take one day real easy and it takes a couple of days to get over it! Oh well, nothing I can’t cope with I guess.

'Appy Days !
